Job Responsibilities:
∎ Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer.
∎ Hands on experience or extended knowledge in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
∎ Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
∎ Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
∎ Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
∎ Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
∎ Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems.
∎ Design Network security strategy and comprehensive cybersecurity architecture.
∎ Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management.
∎ Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure of different OEM Firewall and Security software.
∎ Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions.
∎ Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures.
∎ Identifying current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities and threats
∎ Sourcing and implementing new security solutions to better protect the organization
∎ Conducting proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies
∎ Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer or sound knowledge on the said field would be required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 30 years
∎ A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
∎ CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification is preferable
∎ CEH and VA-VT knowledge would be highly preferable
∎ 2– 3plus years of experience in network engineering
∎ Strong documentation, interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Willing to work in a 24/7 work environment with a flexible work schedule.
∎ Able to function effectively in high stakes and high stress situations.
∎ Follow a continuous education program and maintain one or more relevant professional certifications.
∎ Ability to quickly find answers to questions referencing manuals and/or Internet resources.
∎ Fluent in English in both writing and speech (i.e. writing, reading, speaking, and understanding).
∎ CompTIA A+ Certification (preferred)
∎ CompTIA Security+ Certification (preferred)
∎ Cisco CCNA Certification
∎ Cisco CCNP Certification (preferred)
