∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology
∎ 2 Years of experience in server and storage monitoring, administration, or related roles.Proficiency in deploying and configuring monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.Monitoring thru IBM Call-home (IBM Storage) and HMC (Power Server) will be plus point Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve performance issues.Experience with capacity planning, performance optimization, and security best practices.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Any IBM Server/Storage/Linux/AIX Certification will be added point.Knowledge of Monitoring protocol like SNMP

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Deploy and configure monitoring tools to track server and storage performance metrics, including CPU usage, memory utilization, disk space, I/O rates, etc.
∎ Set up alerting mechanisms to promptly identify and respond to any deviations from normal performance or potential issues.
∎ Investigate and troubleshoot performance issues, downtime, or other problems related to servers and storage systems, collaborating with other IT teams as needed.
∎ Perform capacity planning to anticipate future resource needs and ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Optimize server and storage configurations to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
∎ Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and monitoring setups.
∎ Generate regular reports on system performance, uptime, and incidents/outages for management and stakeholders.
∎ Implement security measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of server and storage systems.
∎ Automate monitoring tasks and workflows to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
