Responsibilities & Context:
  • Prospect and generate leads: Identify potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other lead generation techniques.
  • Understand customer needs: Conduct thorough research to understand the client's requirements and pain points to present the software solution effectively.
  • Demonstrate software solutions: Showcase the features and benefits of the software to potential clients through presentations, demos, and trial versions.
  • Negotiate contracts: Discuss pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to close sales deals while ensuring profitability for the company.
  • Provide customer support: Assist customers with on boarding, training, and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth transition to using the software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to gather feedback, improve product offerings, and address customer needs.
  • Meet sales targets: Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas by effectively managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.
  • To excel in this role, incumbent need strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as a good understanding of software solutions and the ability to adapt to customer needs.
  • Self-motivated, a proactive and results-driven attitude is essential for success in software solution sales.
