Responsibilities & Context:
Context: Support the Industrial Engineering department by conducting work study activities, monitoring production performance, improving line efficiency, maintaining accurate operational data, and assisting in line balancing and process optimization to achieve production targets with optimum resource utilization.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency.
Assist in line balancing activities to ensure optimum manpower and machine utilization.
Monitor daily production performance, line efficiency, WIP, and operator productivity of assigned lines.
Collect and analyze production data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly IE reports.
Assist in preparing capacity studies, manpower requirements, and production target calculations.
Monitor cutting input, output achievement, and workflow movement to ensure smooth production flow.
Support implementation of approved machine layouts and workstation arrangements.
Identify non-value-added activities and recommend process improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Assist in maintaining operator skill matrix and productivity records.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance teams to resolve production-related issues.
Support operator training activities related to work methods, productivity improvement, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies, IE standards, and production procedures. Provide necessary support and arrange training for operators and staff to enhance skills, maintain productivity, and control overtime.
