• SSC Pass but educational qualification is not mandatory, Preference will be given to those with good experience with Lathe Workshop department.

• 15-20 years experience in relevant field is preferred.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Lathe Workshop, Steel Industries.

We are looking for dynamic and energetic individuals in our Workshop Department at Shafiul Alam Steel Re-Rolling Mills Ltd in the following position:

Job Responsibility

• Responsible for the smooth operation of lathe machines, ensuring precision and quality in the produced parts. This includes setting up, operating, and troubleshooting both manual and CNC lathes, as well as mentoring junior technicians.

• Ensure operation of lathe machine, shaper machine and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, gearbox manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and troubleshooting.

• Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods

• Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.

• Diagnose breakdown problems.

• Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly

• Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment's.

• Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs

• Work with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controller (PLC), which control machinery on factory assembly lines.

• Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.

• Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment is case of breakdowns.
