Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Facilitate and support innovative Adolescent, Youth and women in development of business plans, financial analysis of startups and growing small business, value proposition of new products and services, and market linkages and promotion
∎ Focus on developing and enhancing skills development program platforms while expanding business-to-business services to meet evolving market demands
∎ Facilitate and strengthen linkages between key market actors, including marketers and other stakeholders
∎ Ensuring a clear and smooth transition from new product design, through development and quality checking
∎ Provide career counselling to the adolescents and youth
∎ Conduct assessment surveys on income-generating activities (IGA) and market areas to provide evidence-based support for youth small business development
∎ Organize and facilitate demand-driven training for adolescents and staff on income-generating activities (IGA) and marketing skills
∎ Identify market and business skill gaps among targeted adolescents and youth across value chains in collaboration with local business owners
∎ Make assessment to find out the graduate adolescent and youth for internship opportunity
∎ Conduct tracer study and collect information on vocational skills training
∎ Influence to engage graduate adolescent in trade base activity & try to do market linkage
∎ Ensure all child protection initiatives align with BRAC’s policies and procedures
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
∎ Senior Project Officer (Design and Market) will support Project manager to develop team plan and implement of sector activities in both camps and host community. In addition, this position will coordinate and maintain liaison with community leaders, other actor leaders and other stakeholders along with provide supervision and technical guidance to team to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
