Responsibilities & Context:
∎ About The Role :
∎ We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated and experienced Senior SQA Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through a combination of manual and automated testing techniques. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues and driving continuous improvement of our QA processes.
∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ Manual Testing:
∎ ● Design and execute comprehensive test cases for various software functionalities, focusing on user stories, requirements, and edge cases.
∎ ● Perform exploratory testing to identify hidden defects and potential risks.
∎ ● Review and document test results with clear and concise defect reports.
∎ Automation Testing:
∎ ● Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python.
∎ ● Implement and integrate test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
∎ ● Analyze test results and identify opportunities for improvement in automation coverage
∎ Load/Performance Testing:
∎ ● Design and execute load and performance testing using Apache JMeter or similar tools.
∎ ● Analyze performance data and identify bottlenecks or scalability issues.
∎ ● Recommend solutions for optimizing performance and ensuring high availability.
∎ API Testing:
∎ ● Design and execute API tests using Postman or Rest Assured or similar tools.
∎ ● Validate API functionality, security, and performance.
∎ ● Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot API issues.
∎ Cyber Security/VAPT Testing:
∎ ● Familiarity with VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) principles and methodologies.
∎ ● Participate in security testing activities and report identified vulnerabilities.
∎ ● Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends.
∎ Other Responsibilities:
∎ ● Participate in code reviews and identify potential quality issues.
∎ ● Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
∎ ● Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and tools.
∎ ● Stay informed about the latest software testing trends and technologies. Qualifications:
∎ ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
∎ ● Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
∎ ● Proven experience in manual and automation testing techniques.
∎ ●Expertise in Selenium with Java or Python for automation testing.
∎ ●Experience with Postman or Rest Assured for API testing.
∎ ● Experience with Apache Jmeter or similar tools for load/performance testing.
∎ ● Familiarity with VAPT testing principles and methodologies is a plus.
∎ ● ISTQB certification is a strong plus.
∎ ● Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
∎ ●Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
