Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ At least 10 years relevant experience in garment sample approval.
∎ At least 5 years of working experience in garments manufacturing and 5 years in buying house/multinational company as Garments Technologist.
∎ Solid knowledge of fitting, pattern making, grading, construction experience.
∎ Knowledge of garment fit and ability to instruct a vendor on the garment manufacturability.
∎ Experience in using 3D technology (Browswear), V-stitcher, and 2D Gerber will be an advantage.
∎ Good knowledge in paper pattern, grading, garment construction and measurements.
∎ Should have fitting knowledge with models and dummies (7 years of experience).
∎ Sample room experience.
∎ Pattern making and production line experience for knit and woven items
∎ Self-motivated, self-organized & responsible.
∎ Able to foresee potential production problem with solution.
∎ Able to identify and correct pattern problems.
∎ Creative and with an open mindset.
∎ Strong decision-making skill & strong team building skill.
∎ Good Team spirit
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills.
∎ Strong Ms Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Technically sound in Fine Knit & Woven products.
∎ Good understanding on Patterns, Fittings & Sample procedures.
∎ Capable to understand brand's specifications.
∎ Capable to communicate with Customers, Merchandisers, Factory Technical positions in relevant affairs
∎ Proficient in both written and spoken English
∎ Evaluate fit/ size set sample, quality sample, PP production sample etc. Experience on Fit on dummy and live model (where applicable), provides approval in region based on style complexity.
∎ Experienced on reporting and working with different online data systems.
∎ Experienced on washing, shrinkage, twisting, rubbing test etc. in quality sample validation.
∎ Should have knowledge to assess lab test report (physical and chemical).
∎ Strengthen cooperation with Quality Assurance team and Merchandising team in order to secure best garments for bulk production.
∎ Work on different areas to improve supply base, maintain quality standard and achieve company goals and objective.
∎ Able to analysis the product safety issues & technical risk assessments.
∎ Able to analysis the product critical methods of production & communicate those issue with the product responsible & make sure all the alteration should be minimized at the stage of seal sampling.
