Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and regularly update training materials on WASH, Health, and Safeguarding, tailored to the needs of Learning Centre teachers.
∎ Localize and simplify technical content for practical classroom application by both Rohingya and host community teachers.
∎ Collaborate with technical experts and the Specialist – Capacity Building to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
∎ Adapt materials based on participant literacy levels and cultural sensitivities.
∎ Facilitate structured training sessions and refresher workshops for Learning Centre teachers in both host and camp settings.
∎ Provide orientation and technical guidance to ensure teachers can effectively deliver messages to learners.
∎ Facilitate regular in-person training sessions for BRAC staff and volunteers at the camp level on integrated roles and service delivery.
∎ Monitor trainee performance through observation and follow-up support to reinforce knowledge in the classroom.
∎ Maintain training attendance records, pre/post-assessments, and feedback documentation.
∎ Coordinate with Education and Health teams to ensure thematic consistency in messages being delivered.

∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ The Senior Project Officer, Training & Capacity Building is responsible for developing and implementing practical training initiatives, with a focus on training Learning Centre teachers (both Rohingya and host community) on key thematic areas such as WASH, Health, and Safeguarding. This role includes preparing training content, conducting sessions, managing training logistics, and ensuring participants are equipped to deliver awareness to learners. Training for staff, volunteers, and community groups at the camp level will also be included. The position will also play a role in strengthening the operational capacity of camp teams and community people to deliver integrated services effectively and according to their revised roles and responsibilities.
