∎
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support the project and grants team in calculation of monthly estimated expenditure and real cost estimation as per project needs and provide overall resources analysis for better planning and utilization.
∎ Ensuring monthly procurement bill submission in coordination with finance and procurement.
∎ Support the project for tracking tool and reporting template development.
∎ Crosscheck budget, narrative proposal and work plans to ensure that they are in line with each other. Ensure that the procurement plans, and work plans are as per the cash flow forecast in all the components of partners.
∎ Review the cost estimations related to the external evaluations and surveys.
∎ Actively participate in meetings of BRAC management about budget, expenses and record keeping of both sector and partner NGOs.
∎ Monitor all the transactions and financial report of the sector and ensure that the project provide inputs timely.
∎ Monitor expenses and procurement processes of project to ensure that the processes are done as per the agreed and approved plans.
∎ Document all the agreed budgets, communication from donor including budget modification, bills and filing systems and ensure that the PMs and project staff are communicated and take necessary actions.
∎ Record and document all the grants’ variations and relevant document about the budget relocation decisions and coding.
∎ Organize the capacity building for the staff including the PMs and document the learnings.
∎ Develop the financial reports as per donor and BRAC policies and ensure all the indicators are in line with approved proposal.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ This position will be responsible and accountable for managing the financial and administrative aspects of the project. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong financial management skills and the ability to ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor regulations.
