Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic Partnerships

∎ Lead the development, coordination and management of BRAC's strategic partnerships , with stakeholders such as donors and development agencies, in sync with BRAC International's fundraising unit, supporting offices in the US and UK, its global technical anchors, and individual Country Offices, in line with the regional plans and targets:

∎ Coordinate regular engagement meetings with key donors in collaboration with Country Offices, and other BRAC supporting offices to identify and share information relevant to BRAC's work - strengthening current and future opportunities that continues to better position BRAC in the region;
∎ Provide support in the identification, tracking, and analysis of emerging and current Donors trends and opportunities that add to and/or complement Donor business forecasts and relay information and updates to BRAC COs, technical staff;
∎ Collaborate with the fundraising community of practice, BRAC supporting offices and other relevant BRAC stakeholders to ensure that BRAC continues to invest in the most relevant, strategic and likely to win opportunities;
∎ In coordination with BRAC country offices and relevant BRAC stakeholders, lead the design of Resource Development and Partnering business plans across the region;
∎ Provide technical assistance for the implementation and monitoring of approved annual operating plans, including individual annual resource mobilization plans with specific targets
∎ Business Development

∎ Lead on strengthening business development capacity across BRAC's Asia offices

∎ With the key BRAC staff in each country office, develop a culture of pro-active engagement with key stakeholders, including government, private sector and donors, on key topics in line with BRAC's Global Strategy, as well as resource mobilisation.
∎ Lead on all mapping activities so that BRAC in Asia has a deep understanding of the donor landscape, including donors, stakeholders, INGOs, and programmes that work in BRAC's thematic areas
∎ Establish a system and model a culture that recognizes and supports innovation, risk taking and learning, and manage the learning around programme development, ensuring that learning from both successful and unsuccessful applications are embedded into BRAC's future programmes
∎ Give strong, in-depth support to the proposal development process, including design, writing, submission, as well as strategic pre-positioning and post-submission negotiations. Be ready to travel to country programs to provide this support.
∎ Work collaboratively with BRAC fundraising focal persons across the organisation to manage existing tools and develop others to ensure high quality business development practices across the Asia countries
∎ Provide exceptional support to the fundraising counterparts in country offices. Build capacity, train and coach country office staff to ensure that BRAC's offices in Asia are engaged in strong and systematic business development practices.
∎ Safeguarding Responsibilities:

∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in an international development environment that includes leading roles in partnership management, negotiations, programme development (including proposal development) and innovative fundraising. Experience of management of (or working within) diverse teams including utilization of capacity building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
∎ Familiarity with human centred design approach; project life cycle; project
∎ management tools, global collaboration tools
∎ Familiarity with key donor requirements for quality proposal development.
∎ Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change in complex organizations
∎ Ability to work virtually in a global environment
∎ Track record of successful proposal and programme designing for international development organizations.
∎ Able to operate fluently in English.
∎ Ability to travel up to 30% of time
