∎ B.Sc in Textile/ FDT/AMT/ KMT from a reputed university (BUTEX, BUFT, NIFT, SMUCT)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for the development of the designated product lines for the company.
∎ Schedules and monitors all product development schedules to ensure timely completion in accordance with the specified buyer/product development calendar.
∎ Assures the technical excellence and high quality of all products under his/her jurisdiction.
∎ Develops the product specifications, promotes them, and keeps all documentation, style files, and samples relating to the product and related applications.
∎ Partnering with product, material and embellishments manufacturers and sourcing to utilize the existing materials, embellishments, building methods / procedures and samples to create inventive and technically improved products each season.
∎ Consistently replenish the showroom with developed product styles.
∎ Communicates with the designer, the merchant team, and quality assurance to disseminate product technical information and ensure the accuracy, legitimacy, and integrity of all developing items.
∎ Performs above JD Properly and other duties as assigned for future role.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.
∎ Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
∎ A willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
∎ Self-driven, passionate and able to work under pressure.
∎ Strong communication and presentation skills.
∎ Strong attention to details & accuracy, aiming for perfection.
∎ Strong written & verbal communication both in Bangla & English.
∎ Excellent knowledge in MS Office and other job-related software.
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work efficiently.
∎ Capability to do work with Illustrator or PS software will be added advantage.
