Skills Required: Must possess good interpersonal skills
Additional Requirements:
- Age At least 28 years
- Must have knowledge to handle the audit.
- Knowledge in Environment Management System.
- Should have knowledge in Nirapon and RSC.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer-based communication.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and the local language (Bengali).
- Experience in the garment industry is advantageous.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Serve as a communication bridge between workers and management, facilitate meetings, and maintain accurate records of welfare activities.
- Address worker grievances, facilitate communication, and work to resolve conflicts between workers and management.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and buyer codes of conduct related to worker welfare.
- Conduct awareness programs on health, hygiene, and safety, and monitor workplace conditions.
- Oversee the proper functioning of essential amenities like canteens, washrooms, and childcare facilities.
- Organize and conduct training sessions on rules, regulations, health, safety, and worker rights.
- Provide counseling and support to workers on disciplinary issues and personal challenges.
- Maintain official records and registers for welfare activities, training, and grievances.
- Assist workers in availing their due benefits, including leave, medical services, and other legal entitlements.
- Submit reports to Management on welfare activities and worker issues.
- Carry out awareness programs related to various buyer requirements and best practices.
