Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Officer – Lean Manufacturing to join our Industrial Engineering team. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Lean tools, production process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment (preferably Plastic process).
Location: Plot: 129-131, DEPZ, Ganakbari, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, and Waste Reduction.
- Conduct time & motion studies, capacity studies, and layout improvement projects.
- Analyze production data to identify gaps and recommend process improvements.
- Support productivity enhancement by reducing bottlenecks.
- Develop and update SOPs, workflow standards.
- Lead continuous improvement (CI) projects and follow up on sustainability.
- Train and guide production teams on Lean concepts and methods.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance teams to ensure efficiency targets.
