Proficiency in :
o Mold fitting and polishing
o Flash removal points and balancing
o Gate types (pin gate, edge gate, hot runner gate, etc.)
o Cooling line distribution and optimization
o Mold venting and air trap elimination
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mold Technician for our plastic hanger manufacturing unit with strong troubleshooting and mold maintenance knowledge. Candidates with hands-on expertise in hanger manufacturing will be given strong priority.
Location: Mainetti (Bangladesh) Pvt. Ltd, Plot: 129-131, DEPZ, Ganakbari, Ashulia, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily mold maintenance, cleaning, inspection, and preventive servicing.
Handle mold assembly, disassembly, and fitting work with high accuracy.
Conduct mold changeovers and ensure proper alignment and installation on the machine.
Diagnose and resolve mold-related issues such as flashing, short shots, burn marks, warpage, gate blockages, and cooling inefficiencies.
Inspect and maintain critical mold components (core, cavity, sliders, inserts, lifters, pins).
Ensure proper functioning of ejector systems, cooling channels, hot runner systems, and gate mechanisms.
Familiarity with PP, PS, PET processing behavior and its effect on mold performance.
Assist during new mold trials, sampling, and validation of hanger molds.
Maintain mold service records, troubleshooting logs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
