Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

·       Conduct site visits and assist in assessing CCTV installation requirements.

·       Install, configure, test and commission complete CCTV surveillance systems.

·       Install and configure IP, Analog and Hybrid CCTV systems.

·       Install and configure DVR, NVR and XVR systems.

·       Install and configure IP cameras, dome cameras, bullet cameras, PTZ cameras and other surveillance cameras.

·       Properly position and adjust cameras to achieve optimum coverage and image quality.

·       Carry out CCTV cable laying, routing, termination and testing.

·       Perform RJ45 crimping and network-cable testing.

·       Install and configure PoE switches, network switches and related equipment.

·       Configure IP addresses and basic network settings for CCTV systems.

·       Configure CCTV systems for remote viewing through mobile phones, computers and other authorized devices.

·       Configure recording schedules, motion detection, playback, storage and backup.

·       Diagnose and rectify camera, DVR/NVR, network, power supply, storage and connectivity problems.

·       Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic CCTV system health checks.

·       Replace defective cameras, HDDs, power supplies, connectors, cables and other components when required.

·       Attend client complaints and technical service calls within the agreed response time.

·       Provide basic operational training and demonstrations to clients following installation.

·       Maintain proper service records and report completed assignments to VERTEX management.

·       Ensure professional workmanship, safety and cleanliness at client premises.

·       Maintain strict confidentiality concerning CCTV footage, passwords, system configurations, client information and security arrangements.

·       Follow VERTEX's technical, professional and client-service standards at all times.
