Job Responsibilities:

∎ Key Result #1: Support Recruitment and onboarding
∎ Administer full recruitment cycle ensuring process is followed according to stated policy;
∎ Support recruitment process for new staff, including preparation of job advertisement and posting, reviewing applications, initial candidate screening and scheduling interviews, etc;
∎ Conduct background and reference checks on short-listed candidates, providing feedback to the hiring manager(s) and Human Resources Manager;
∎ Ensure documentation for all recruitment processes is complete;
∎ Compile documentation for new hires, ensuring files are appropriately set up and configured; and,
∎ Coordinate new staff induction to the organization with appropriate stakeholders and monitor completion of the orientation components.
∎ Key Result #2: Employee Lifecycle support
∎ Support HR Manager to secure and manage confidentiality of all employment records (hard and soft copy files and human resources information system (HRIS) digital records), ensuring documentation is up-to-date and complete, periodically auditing records for compliance and accuracy.
∎ Collaborate closely with Human Resources Manager to ensure that employee lifecycle processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner;
∎ Administer and monitor contracts and contract renewals, etc. ensuring documentation is complete and in alignment with job descriptions and employee function.
∎ Key Result #3: HR Department Administrative support
∎ Support HR Manager to prepare appropriate letters, notices, reports, or other documentation as requested by HR leadership;
∎ Provide updated employee lists, incorporating new hires and terminations, to the Dhaka office HR team on a monthly basis for group life and medical insurance processing.
∎ Update and monitor the attendance device management in all facilities.
∎ Provide monthly attendance report to the Human Resources Manager and take actions regarding the following.
∎ Key Result #4: Manage compensation, payroll and benefits processes (for national staff)
∎ Organize compensation and benefits procedures, including payroll, etc. for the national staff, working closely with HR Manager and Finance team as applicable;
∎ Calculate salary payments to accommodate unauthorized leave or leave without pay, as' required;
∎ Manage and update employee's income tax, life Insurance in a timely manner.
∎ Key Result #5: Organizational culture and personal development
∎ Assist the Human Resources Manager implement initiatives that develop an organizational culture that reflects the Heartbeat", promotes accountability and high performance, encourages wellness /care, and fosters a team culture of learning, creativity and innovation;
∎ Advise and guide management and staff on the interpretation and execution of HR policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and government regulations;
∎ Assist with facilitation of organizational trainings (such HR Policy, Code of Conduct and Protection Policy introductions, etc.);
∎ Mediate employee conflict and grievances, escalating issues as appropriate to organizational leaders; and
∎ Pursue ongoing personal learning and training in areas related to role.

∎ Proven knowledge of Bangladesh labor law and NGOAB regulations regarding HR matters;
∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems and / or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and / or GoToMeeting;
∎ Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate work, ensure the efficient flow of projects and processes;
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
∎ Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and across organizational and cultural boundaries.
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions, and limited medical support;
∎ Ability to visit field areas/campsites as required.
