Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the entire garment production process – from product development to bulk production and final shipment according to customer quality standards.
∎ Maintain all merchandising communication, including order files, tracking reports, and documentation.
∎ Manage order specifications, costing, and communicate with suppliers and foreign offices.
∎ Prepare and manage T&A (Time & Action) plans to meet buyer and factory timelines.
∎ Supervise sample development and ensure timely submissions with approved quality.
∎ Have complete knowledge of Knit and Woven garment production.
∎ Ensure timely sourcing of fabrics and trims with required quality.
∎ Conduct regular factory visits to ensure product meets buyer expectations.
∎ Guarantee all raw materials are in-house well before PCD (Planned Cut Date).
∎ Coordinate with production and QA teams to ensure on-time shipment and 100% quality approval.
∎ Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers.
∎ Oversee complete order execution—from sampling to final dispatch.
∎ Conduct T&A follow-ups and monitor order flow progress.
∎ Prepare and verify cost reconciliation reports after each order.
∎ Analyze shipment performance and take action to minimize rejections.
∎ Meet key KPIs: Units shipped, revenue, margin, market share, etc.
∎ Submit performance reports and updates to management regularly.
