Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Scope - To support the merchandising functions of the company (pre-production/ production) in Bangladesh
∎ To work with merchandising manager to ensure that all factories are working within the required production standard according to the order lead-time.
∎ To drive the account according to the customer requirements and companies’ expectation of production and lead-time.
∎
∎ Applicants must have sound knowledge about Jersey and Sweater products.
∎ Experience dealing with outerwear products will be added value.
∎ Must have good familiarity with garment production process and quality issues.
∎ Take full responsibility from the time order received from the internal marketing team until the order has been shipped.
∎ Be proactive and take more initiatives and solve issues and share them with the rest of the team.
∎ Experience working with different PLM sites will be added preference.
∎ Self-motivated, self-organized and responsible.
∎ Work enthusiastically with the technical teams.
∎ Good communication skills including effective mail correspondence.
∎ Keep the department’s Manager updated on the general order situation.
∎ Create good dialogue with UK counterparts and understand their priorities and act accordingly.
∎ Proficient PC skills (Windows XP, Word, Excel, PPT).
∎ Proficiency (both written and oral) in English are compulsory, proficiency in Mail correspondence with all concern.
∎ Must have capability of all sorts’ production follow-up.
∎ To monitor the production flow on a regular basis to ensure proper executions align with plan.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
