Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters or Bachelors in Business Administration, having concentration in Finance / Economics from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement risk management framework in different development programme which will include risk monitoring, risk measurement and risk identification
∎ Work closely with the microfinance programme to understand cross-functional linkages and inter-dependencies, as well as the implication of risk at both the strategic and operational level
∎ Participate in preparing risk management capacity development training module and make suggestion on the development of the modules
∎ Communicate issues regarding risk strategies and policies by arranging meetings and seminars on risk management for the beneficiaries and stakeholders
∎ Constructively challenge, consult and advise on different aspects of risk management, whilst maintaining excellent relationship with the programme management
∎ Prepare quarterly risk management report for the Head of Risk Management Services and related stakeholders
∎ Lead and supervise different teams from other programmes to assess risk effectively
∎ Establish and quantify the organizations 'Risk Appetite', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept
∎ Monitor the effectiveness of the Risk Management Framework applied to the various programmes of BRAC
∎ Assist the Head of Risk Management Services to prepare reports for the Risk Management Committee, Executive Management of the organisation and Audit Committee
∎ Build and maintain strong relationship with other related programmes to achieve the organizations overall goals/ objectives
∎ Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the programme by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and action-ed in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any report-able incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in any reputed Development / Business organization, with minimum 3 years of experience in Risk Management field
∎ Excellent knowledge on the functions and programmes of a development organization including knowledge on strategy and management of large work force
∎ Expertise on Advanced Microsoft Excel
∎ Understanding on 'Risk vs. Reward' skill
∎ Excellent ability to influence, drive change and resolve conflicts
∎ Excellent communication skill in both Bangla and English
∎ Ability to work independently as well as in team
∎ Ability to work in a fast paced and technology based development organization
∎ Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem solving skills
∎ Should have strong leadership and negotiation skills
∎ Should have willingness to travel frequently
