Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation/ Masters preferably in Social Science, Communications, Journalism, Media Relations, Business Administration or other relevant subjects from any recognised university. Any related professional degree or certification is preferable.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work collaboratively with wider funding team to help identify and plan strategies to position UPG programme with potential partners and donors.
∎ Proactively seek new funding opportunities from both public and private sector and engage in donor relationship management.
∎ Develop concept note and funding proposals independently and support joint proposal development initiative through coordination with different programmes, such as PRL, BRAC International and other development programmes of BRAC and participate in the bidding process for fund raising as per needs.
∎ Manage grants related activities with different programmes such as PRL, BRAC International and other development programmes of BRAC on behalf of UPG programme and work as a focal point for grant management activities.
∎ Identify, collate and share good practice and learning around donor requirements and agreed programme portfolio.
∎ Conduct continuous environmental scan and provide donor intelligence (thematic orientations, modalities of engagement, entry points, forecasts etc.) to the senior management to increase probability of attracting funds.
∎ Support global and regional efforts to develop programmatic, fundraising, communications and other strategies as needed.
∎ Prepare different documentations for reporting (AOP, midyear reports, annual report, different donor reports, presentation slides etc.).
∎ Organize different exposure visits in coordination with different relevant units within and outside the Programme related to resource mobilisation.
∎ Coordinate with all UPG units and work closely with M&E staff and finance staff for data preservation and sharing.
∎ Support programme to conduct and initiate graduation related studies for programme development, identify the potential gaps, and optimum utilization of resources through enriching existing intervention.
∎ Represent BRAC and UPG programme at various internal and external forums as and when required.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years’ experience to work with major donors/ funders with a good understanding of donors intuitions. Exceptional writing skills and a proven track record of producing high quality written materials and writing successful fundraising proposals or reports.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ In depth knowledge on poverty dynamics.
∎ In-depth knowledge on livelihood programmes.
∎ Ability to work across cultures, with external stakeholders, international colleagues etc.
∎ Knowledge Management Issues, Programme operations management, M&E etc.
