Job Context:
∎ This is a new role involves working for a renowned garment manufacturing brand, the company`s overall technology is now in a growth stage so you will be joining at a very pivotal time to be able to play a key part in setting the overall direction of development.
∎ The role will be accountable for setting, communicating and driving the technical side of the business and ensuring that all system developer teams meet their deliverables.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with software developers and system analysts to understand system architecture.
∎ Documenting functional/business requirements, process flows, hardware/software/ other system components.
∎ Communicate with all stakeholder to understand the need and the interpret the same to the developers.
∎ Work closely with the Head of IT to plan, develop and implement the overall technology strategy, contributing to the identification, initiation and driving of key application projects.
∎ Error or bug fixing of existing software.
∎ Quality assurance (QA) management of Application (LIVE. UAT, DEV & testing) environments
∎ Manage the deliverables of the System development department, ensuring that technical design expectations are met, and key strategy objectives are delivered.
∎ Set technical vision and lead the development of these applications.
∎ Coach and mentor team members and the broader Systems team to build skills and competencies within the Systems department.
∎ Participate in the ongoing capacity planning and management of each team member's workload. Allocate, manage and monitor team resourcing requirements.
∎ Create technology roadmaps aligned to the business strategy and execute effectively and communicate and be responsible for roadmap deliverables being met.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 33 to 38 years
∎ 10+ years in a Development Management or Application development and experience working in similar role managing the delivery of systems; leading teams of developers in a cross-functional context. Out of that minimum 3-5 years in manager level position is a must.
∎ Experience in an application development within PHP framework (i.e. Laravel), database systems development role, supporting end-users in a multi-user environment.
∎ Skills in Software Development, Software architect & Database Design, Team management, Project Management, Business process alignment
∎ Experience in PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, Java, jQuery, MySQL, Oracle, OOP, ORM, Bootstrap, WordPress etc.
∎ PMP Certificate will be an added advantage.
∎ Able to leverage deep technical and domain expertise to design and create applications that meet and anticipate business and customer needs.
