Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg), Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engg., Natural Resource Mgt., Forestry or Ecology, Environmental Law, Social Science or Anthropology
∎ Skills Required: Environmental Compliance, Health Safety and Environment, Observation and recommendations capability with risk assessment

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Environmental Science, Health Safety and Environment

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The incumbent in Environment and Social Risk Management will assist in planning and execution of the Environmental and Social due diligence for the Customers applying for and/or enjoying the credit facilities from the Bank.
∎ The job holder will study and assess the Environmental and Social Risk in line with the set policy guidelines and standards of the Bank. He/she will translate the findings of the E&S Risks, present the summary to the Head of department and suggest the customers about the factors to be considered for mitigating the Risks and meeting the criteria for enjoying the facilities

Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have a minimum of 4 (four) years of Industry experience with 2 years of EHS consulting in the field of Environment & Social Management.
∎ Have very good knowledge and understanding of Environment & Social Risk Management and Regulations of the country
∎ Should be conversant with E&S Impact Assessment Principle, Procedures, Practices and Surveys
∎ Should demonstrate very good analytical skills with the ability to make presentations both within and outside the Bank
∎ Experience of reviewing International Standards like ADB Safeguards, IFC/WBG, Sustainability Standards will be treated as added advantage
∎ Knowledge of Banking Operations, Financing, Credit Administration will be desirable but not mandatory
