Job Context:
∎ This position will be responsible for the proper operations and maintenance with related areas under the guidance of Departmental Head and organize working environment, procedure, practice and working methods to increase work effectiveness and efficiency and to provide all assistance to the concerned authority and execute orders properly.
∎ The incumbent will ensure that there is no breakdown of the whole engineering process and also be capable to inspect the working condition of equipment with engineering system and ensure that all standards are maintained on regular basis.
Job Responsibilities:

∎ Preventive Maintenance.
∎ Breakdown Maintenance.
∎ Spares Management.
∎ Machines effectiveness & productivity increase.
∎ Power consumption monitoring & reduction.
∎ Safety & Housekeeping.
∎ OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
∎ Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
∎ Diagnose breakdown problems
∎ Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
∎ Carry out quality inspections on jobs
∎ Monitor and control maintenance costs
∎ Work with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery on factory assembly lines
∎ Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
∎ Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
∎ Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
∎ Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
∎ Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
∎ SUPERVISORY/ PEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Prepare and implement the plan to get continuous support by the team.
∎ Scheduling and overseeing all maintenance-related work.
∎ Coordination with subordinates and technician regarding any maintenance issue.
∎ Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues.
∎ TEAM LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT:
∎ Arrange training session for the subordinates to learning new things.
∎ For skill development include junior technician to the machine maintenance activities directly.
∎ STRATEGIC WORK:
∎ Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts
∎ Finding and fixing faults and recalibrating instruments
∎ Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule
∎ Machine maintenance schedule must prepare comparing with machine production.

∎ Candidates having experience in Flexible packaging industry will get preference.
∎ Capable in people handling and ensuring maintenance and related areas activities with scheduled time.
∎ Excellent communication, negotiations and problem solving skills.
∎ Basic computer skill is a must.
