Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain environment, health & safety issues in the concerned factory &Ensure HIGG environmental issues in the factory and BHive, BVE3, CPI2 and SWAN eco level project;
∎ Ensure compliance with environmental laws, safety regulations and industry standards and follow up sustainability audit, energy audit, water audit & universal waste audit;
∎ Evaluate energy and sustainability opportunities, identity financial impacts and finalize energy and sustainability recommendation;
∎ Develop, adopt, implement and monitor energy management & sustainability policy, standards, guidelines and energy and sustainability program budget;
∎ Conduct general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support health, safety and environmental management;
∎ Develop sustainability design criteria and implement sustainability program in the concerned factory, Monitor safe operating procedures and maintenance of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) as applicable to hazardous materials;
∎ Develop and conduct required orientation, awareness & training related to compliance issues,hazardous chemicals and safety maintenance & Monitor LEED building environmental issues;
∎ Monitor, implement and update the activities of Chemical Management, Wastage, Water, Energy and Waste Water and other environmental issues EPL Factory. Monitor effects of ETP operation to ensure its effluent standard;
∎ Prepare and implement corrective action plan (CAP) based on external, internal, first party & third-party social compliance audit. Maintain relevant EMS logs and documentation and prepare necessary reports & presentation;
∎ Follow up detailed incident investigations and carry out analysis of accident/incident statistics, identify trends and suggest improvement plans;
∎ Follow up the progress of remedies of accident, incident or damage & Update all stall and workers regarding fire safety, chemical safety, first aid & other necessary safety issues through training as per buyer COC;
∎ Maintain & follow up licenses and certificates along with necessary legal documents & Liaise with different stakeholders, buyers, auditor govt. agencies & others as per business requirement;
∎ Any others job assigns by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The incumbent should have at least 2 years work experience in Environmental Management System with large Garments Industry.
∎ Fair knowledge on Accord & Alliance Standard and Environment;
∎ Knowledge on SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP & C-TPAT, Oeko-tex audit.
∎ Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
