Job Responsibilities:
∎ Follow the RSL & MRSL and maintain them strictly. Ensure original MSDS, TDS guaranty letter, and other certificates from suppliers. follow APEO/AP/AZO Formaldehyde guidance;
∎ To ensure environmental impact assessment (EIA), & risk improving environmental performance such as EHS, EMS.CMS;
∎ Robust knowledge on ECR 2023, OEKO TEX, HIGG FEM, ZLD, GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS, Clean chain, Screen Chemistry, BV E3, Bluesign, ZDHC Gateway, ZDHC MRSL, AFIRM RSL, REACH_SVHC, and Its implementation;
∎ Drive the strategy to be an end-to-end net zero carbon emissions business and seeking out new opportunities to reduce our CO2 emissions;
∎ Identify and establish key sustainability trends for the upcoming season and prepare key trend presentation. Developing a company's environmental policies and procedures, including recycling programs, alternative energy use, and water conservation efforts;
∎ Ensure the safety of all chemical processes and products in the company and also keep the premises free from all chemical toxicities;
∎ Develop the Chemical purchase policy & procedure to fulfill the requirements of ZDHC 2020 mission, REACH regulation, GOTS 6.0, Oeko-Tex 100 Standard, & brands MRSL/RSL;
∎ Follow up & monitoring proper chemical storage, labeling, secondary containment, and chemical compatibility;
∎ Sound knowledge on ETP process & parameters like pH, Hardness, BOD5, MLSS, MLVSS, COD, TDS, TSS, DO, RO Process, WTP, COLOR, Temperature, Sludge Management etc.;
∎ Trace, measure, and keep an inventory of Chemical use, energy usage, carbon & environmental management, water consumption, GHG, air emission & chemical use entitled to approve this data;
∎ Coordinate chemical suppliers through the supply chain to ensure chemical restrictions list, Brands RSL & Implementation toolkit;
∎ Internal Auditing & preparing all factories of Epyllion Group to fulfill requirements as per buyer & DoE;
∎ Conduct awareness training program to workers along with management on 3R, Environmental Sustainability & Chemical Management;
∎ Ensure all sorts of Environmental test by third party & DoE;
∎ Regular follow up on ETP operations & fulfill the entire ETP performance as well as related documents.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The incumbent should have at least 2 years work experience in Environmental Management System with large Garments Industry;
∎ ISO 14001 & 45001 ( LEAD auditor) will get advantage;
∎ Fair knowledge on Accord & Alliance Standard and Environment;
∎ Knowledge on SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP & C-TPAT, Oeko-tex audit.
∎ Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
