Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Ensure factory compliance with local labor standards, worker health and safety and environmental protection on factory premises.
∎ • Monitor workers' health & safety issues, fire & electrical safety, root cause analysis.
∎ • Assisting Management in setting Chemical and Environmental Management goals and objectives.
∎ • Find out any non-conformity in relation to compliance and make sure that those findings are resolved in a systematic and planned manner.
∎ • Prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) against audit reports both internal & external.
∎ • Experience in different audit such as QMS, BSCI, SEDEX etc. Implement compliance requirements as per buyer COC & required legal standards.
∎ • Identify the non-compliance issues in the factories by conducting internal audit.
∎ • Take necessary initiative to remedy of all non-compliance findings.
∎ • Responsible for ensuring healthy working place maintaining efficient operation of safety, hygiene and environment.
∎ • To provide compliance training to the concern staff and workers.
∎ • To prepare & update of all compliance related documents/registers as per buyer requirements.
∎ • To prepare Corrective Action Plan (CAP) against audit reports.
∎ • To face audit like WRAP, BSCI, GOTS etc for different kinds of buyers.
∎ • Attempt to achieve continuous improvement and follow to the best practices.
∎ • Maintaining and follow up licenses and certificates along with necessary legal documents.
∎ • Offer & Facing all First & Third parties’ Social Compliance / Sustainability audit.
∎ • To ensure no Child labor, Discrimination free working environment, Minimum Wages etc. at the time of worker recruitment & payment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be a good team player.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self driven & have good personality
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills
∎ Sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Act-2006, Amendment act -2013, 2018 and Bangladesh Labor Rules.
