Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and supervise all commercial activities including export-import, back-to-back L/Cs, UD, customs, bond, and BTMA/EPB documentation.
∎ Handle raw material sourcing, yarn booking, banking, shipping documentation, and buyer communications.
∎ Coordinate with merchandising, production, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time shipment and order execution.
∎ Consult with banks, customs & EPB for various activities like cash flow, cash incentive & other import export or payment related issues.
∎ Also maintain real-time communication with C&F agents, freight forwarders & port authorities to ensure smooth cargo clearance and delivery.
∎ Ensure bond license maintenance and periodic audit compliance.
∎ Prepare export documentation including EXP, GSP, and Certificate of Origin.
∎ Keep updated records of import-export data, costing, and performance analysis.
∎ Monitor LC opening/negotiation, bill discounting, and post-shipment procedures.
∎ Train and lead the commercial team to maintain buyer compliance standards and efficient documentation flow.
∎ We are a reputed 100% export-oriented sweater manufacturing company looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead our commercial department. The ideal candidate must have 7-10 years of hands-on experience in the sweater division, with strong knowledge in export-import operations, bond-related activities.
