Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science from any reputed university
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Daily overall maintenance, administration, monitoring and incident management of deployed Application Software Solution and all peripherals connected to it.
∎ Corrective maintenance, incident root cause analysis and providing solutions to resolve Application Software incidents within the defined SLAs.
∎ Timely escalation to Application Software Supplier in case that problems cannot be solved on your own and applying Software Solution provided by the Software Supplier.
∎ Deploying and testing new Software releases and patches on both Test System and Production System, where required.
∎ Assisting Software Development teams to resolve production incidents and technical issues.
∎ Performing regular and periodic preventive maintenance tasks on deployed Application Software components, to maintain overall system health and performance on satisfying level.
∎ Close cooperation with HelpDesk, IT Team (System Admin, Network, DBA) and Machinery Support Team in corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
∎ Liaising with the Customer on Production Incidents and Change Requests, providing regular updates to the Customer where required.
∎ Providing demos and on-site explanation to the Customer of the new releases or system features, where required.
∎ On call and weekend support as needed
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3+ years of experience in IT industry, on Software Technical Support, QA and/or Development roles.
∎ Basic database knowledge and understanding of IT HW/SW and Networks.
∎ Experience with complex IT and/or production systems would be a plus.
∎ Experience with applications servers (Apache Tomcat, JBoss...) would be a plus.
∎ Experience with various Operating Systems would be a plus.
∎ Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
∎ Ability to work independently on complex technical tasks.
∎ Strong Customer-oriented profile.
∎ Native speaker Bengali, excellent English verbal and written
