∎ You have 2+ years of experience as a Front-end Engineer and are comfortable talking about high-level product concepts as well as deep technical details. We want someone who is excited about modern tech, code quality and scalable engineering. You are Agile-minded and enjoy collaborating with your peers.
∎ ReactJS and NextJS are your bread and butter and are comfortable building stateful and stateless components that are reusable and easily testable in both unit tests and integration tests. You have superb API knowledge and are used to fetching and updating backend API resources via client libraries using REST APIs - bonus points for experience with GraphQL APIs. You have great knowledge around accessibility and how to make the web more inclusive. On the backend we primarily use Ruby on Rails and NodeJS so experience with either of these is a plus.
∎ You are eager to keep learning to improve your knowledge and to improve the Seedrs code ecosystem. You take advantage of our engineering culture and want to keep improving it by having a strong focus on best practices and emerging technology and trends.
∎ You write your code using the Atomic design structure, maximizing its readability by using a clear architecture and document uncommon decisions taken. You review other's code with an 'hawk eye' and a cooperative spirit that helps others grow from those reviews and suggest alternative approaches that lead to smaller and easier to review commits and pull requests.
∎ You'll be at the top of the list if you have had a strong experience in ReactJS and NextJS as well as other related technologies such as Jest, Cypress and Storybook.
∎ As a candidate you should be able to show and discuss some projects you have worked on recently, showing a deep understanding of the customer as well as technical prowess. Any experience with Ruby on Rails, AWS and Serverless as well as an interest in fintech is a strong bonus!
∎ It is essential that you are fluent in spoken and written English.
∎ What will you do?
∎ You will join our remote Founder team and work with different stakeholders across the company including the Product, Engineering and Investment teams.
∎ We will expect you to play an important role in helping your team be as effective as possible. We want you to be one of the leading voices for the technology decisions within the team, as well as developing our tech ecosystem across Seedrs.
∎ Our engineering teams own the entire product development lifecycle from idea inception and development, through to analyzing success. So, expect to spend most of your time writing code. Additionally, around 25% of your time will be: architecture planning, talking to stakeholders and analyzing your data metrics for success. We operate with a Product Engineering squad structure where each team has a Product Manager and operates as autonomously as possible. Engineers are responsible for quality as well so there is no separate QA team. We work with a highly automated continuous deployment process and this requires engineers to be responsible for writing tests and also ensuring the quality of their code.

∎ 30 minute screening chat with Seedrs Bangladesh Operations Manager and Local Team Lead
∎ Engineering exercise and repository creation to be completed at home and discussed at technical interview.
∎ 1.5 hour technical interview with Tech Lead and Senior Engineer
∎ 45 minute final interview with Product Manager and Engineering Manager.
