∎ About the project:
∎ You will work in a project with our client Seedrs which is one of the biggest crowdfunding platforms in Europe and has the biggest private company trading market in the world. Seedrs allows people to buy and sell shares in private companies (this is a game changer when it comes to investing). Our client has been recently acquired by a US competitor making them a unicorn. It will be a Full-Time Remote job.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ What you'll do
∎ We are looking for someone to integrate our Platform team. This team has the mission to create a solid core for Seedrs, being responsible for the core data models, architecture and resilience of the system. This team also supports in all the regulatory and compliance matters. You will be working with different stakeholders across the company including the Finance, Legal and Product teams.
∎ We will expect you to play an important role in helping your team be as effective as possible. We want you to be one of the leading voices for the technology decisions within the team, as well as developing our tech ecosystem across Seedrs.
∎ Our engineering teams own the entire product development lifecycle from idea inception and development, through to analysing success. So, expect to spend most of your time writing code. Additionally, around 25% of your time will be: architecture planning, talking to stakeholders and analysing your data metrics for success.
∎ Our Technologies
∎ We are looking for an engineer with experience in Ruby on Rails (we are on Rails 6). You should have exposure to building and consuming APIs as well as designing data models to represent a complex domain. An ideal candidate will also have experience working with other technologies we use like React, Typescript and NextJS.
∎ Candidates should be able to show and discuss some projects they have worked on. We want to see a deep understanding of the customer as well as technical prowess. If you have experience with AWS and Serverless as well as an interest in fintech - that's a bonus!
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
Salary: Tk. 200000 - 257000 (Monthly)
