Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide technical guidance and support to the staff responsible for the implementation of innovative and climate-resilient nutrition gardens
∎ Support in preparing project Detail Implementation Plan and identifying resources required, especially agro-inputs for the successful establishment of nutrition gardens and other project interventions
∎ Prepare training materials, provide training, and develop the capacity of the relevant staff through on-field visits, and mentoring and coaching of the staff
∎ Provide active support to the project, as required, to ensure meaningful coordination with the camp management, local stakeholders (Local Government, UNO offices, DAE, etc.) to ensure the smooth operation of project activities
∎ Document best practices, identify lessons learned, and disseminate lessons learned in a promoted learning environment among the staff for efficient and effective implementation of the key interventions.
∎ Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to enhance team performance and motivation
∎ Draft monthly, quarterly and annual technical progress reports based on the output and outcome data of the project
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
∎ Ensuring technical support to contribute to increasing and diversify nutrition-sensitive homestead gardening with a focus on reducing malnutrition and hunger through extending environmentally sustainable agricultural technologies to Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) and the host community at Cox’s Bazar district
