Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's in Marine Sciences, Aquaculture, and Fisheries Science or any other related subject from reputed university/ institute

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure input management and technical support on fisheries at (FDMN) camp and host community
∎ Recommend and implement programmes for population monitoring, habitat improvement, resource planning, and risk mitigation
∎ Provide consultation on fish protection to developers and engineers
∎ Develop programmes to monitor and improve fish populations and habitats
∎ Assess contaminated and polluted areas to measure how they have affected fish and fish habitats, catching, measuring, examining and releasing fish and assessing their health
∎ Visit field and ensure follow-up the activities
∎ Collect data on fish populations, health, and habitat
∎ Coordinate development and implementation of programmes and projects supporting fisheries management
∎ Liaise with planning departments of local authorities about the location of new buildings
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguardingimplementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 (two) years of work experience in relevant field in NGO/ INGO
∎ Commitment to the understanding of BRAC core values and principles
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
∎ Have effective acquaintance with people management and data entry management
∎ Willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions
∎ Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field
∎ Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organisation
∎ Have excellent knowledge on Office Applications
∎ Excellent language skills both Bangla and English
