Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Communicating with merchandiser and production.
∎ Ensure timely pattern-making by GEMINI software.
∎ Able to handle all types of Top, Bottoms and jacket items.
∎ Understand customer concepts and ideas to develop new products within the given timeframe.
∎ Develop, implement and monitor Sample and CAD design standards & procedures to meet customer needs.
∎ Prepare the right sample at the right time to meet the buyer's expectations.
∎ Design or direct pattern-making manually and electronically (Gemini) Provide guidance and direction to the CAD team to ensure operational & technical excellence.
∎ Communicate and Coordinate with the associates (Sample making, Cutting, merchandisers, technicians, seniors) and suppliers to provide the best consumption with quality and efficiency.
∎ Coordinate with Sales Department to maintain their Sample inventory and process the receipt of sample documents for foreign country.
∎ Collecting Sketch & Spec from Marketing department·
∎ Planning the allocation of the sample room's staff within the section.
∎ Ensuring that fabrics, thread and trimmings are available to produce a sample garment.
∎ Setting daily production targets for each sample operator.
∎ Recording daily output of each sample man and total sample room's output.
∎ Maintaining buyer's supplier's and manufacturer's directories.
∎ Responsible to evaluate and approve all samples from development, fitting, adjustment and approval.
∎ Provide technical advice to the production departments for smooth operation.
∎ Ensure sample approval rate as per KPI.
∎ Take all over responsibilities of the CAD and Sample department.
