Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors degree preferably in social science or any other subject from any recognised educational institute with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examination.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with Safeguarding Focal and Champion of Organizational programmes and other entities to ensure that the safeguarding initiatives are implemented according to safeguarding charters.
∎ Support programmes and operations to follow safe programme design process for preventing (or addressing) situations where vulnerable people may be put at risk of harm.
∎ Work with selected programmes to oversee the mechanism for community awareness on safeguarding and ensure community level complaints mechanisms that facilitate reporting of harm and abuses.
∎ Work closely with the Communication Team to develop communication and learning materials and effective tools/strategy on safeguarding promotion for covering various stakeholder inside and outside of BRAC.
∎ Work with Risk Management Team to ensure systematic Risk assessment of programmes and departments and maintain safeguarding register to record the safeguarding progress.
∎ Work with HR units for ensuring safeguarding aspects in regular HR mechanisms such as safe recruitment, JD and PMS etc.
∎ Assist on develop and review of safeguarding and other subset policies and guidelines as required.
∎ Support to arrange and conduct meetings, discussion, workshop, dialogue as required with different stakeholders on Safeguarding issues.
∎ Assign in regular reporting to different body of BRAC and development partners.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Relevant 2-3 Years' experience in safeguarding/compliance/ legal/ HR unit and practical experience to work with communities in any humanitarian project or community development project will add value.
∎ Good understanding and commitment on Safeguarding policies and practices
∎ Facilitating skills to conduct training, workshop and dialogue with various stakeholder
∎ Can support others in capacity building on safeguarding, including consultations with programme participants at grassroots level
∎ Skills on writing, developing messages, communication materials on safeguarding for various stakeholder
∎ Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to deliver messages effectively
∎ Skilled in report writing, preparing power point presentation and any form of written communication.
