Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Law (LLM), Master of Social Science (MSS)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ In collaboration with the Development Team, proactively identify, assess the feasibility of, research, and pursue public, private and global grant opportunities that match the mission and strategic plan of the BLAST.
∎ Develop and write proposals, case statements, letters of inquiry and other correspondence to donors and government agencies, foundations, corporations and other national and regional entities for submission through web-based portals, email, and mail.
∎ Support the Development Team in the completion of grant proposals.
∎ Assist Development Lead to negotiate agreements and budgets with grant project development teams; secure letters of commitment and agreements.
∎ Review all grant related reports. .
∎ Research, compile and analyse data relating to grants, and identify trends and best practices in terms of key interventions.
∎ Ensure compliance with all pre- and post-grant policies and procedures.
∎ Promote the organisation’s mission with donors.
∎ Participate in staff, partner and other meetings on behalf of BLAST as required.
∎ Support the internship team to manage national interns and volunteers placement.
∎ Support research team with documentation and convening of meetings as required.
∎ Perform any other tasks as and when required by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3-4 years’ experience in research on law/management/ legal empowerment/social justice.
∎ Demonstrated experience and capacity to undertake and manage research for grants related tasks.
∎ Excellent writing skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Good interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work autonomously and in teams, take initiative, manage priorities.
∎ Ability to optimize teamwork, learning and efficiency.
∎ Proficient in MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint, and other data processing software.
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
∎ Benefits: Two festival bonuses equivalent to one month’s basic salary for each, will be paid after successful completion of 6 months’ probation period. Costs in relation to any field work will be borne by the organization.
