Job Context:
∎ BLAST is a leading national legal aid and human rights organization providing legal advice, mediation, and litigation services, and undertaking advocacy to ensure the rights of women, men and children living in poverty or facing discrimination/social exclusion. BLAST works through its Head Office in Dhaka and 25 District-level Offices with 2600+ panel lawyers and 100+partner organizations.
∎ BLAST is looking for a Reporting Coordinator for Ukhia, Cox`s Bazar Project Office under the project of PLARC. The Reporting Coordinator is responsible for managing all reports for PLARC project. S/he is responsible to collect information of project activities and to produce high quality, reliable, and verifiable reporting. S/he is responsible for capturing both qualitative and quantitative information from project operations. The Reporting Coordinator is accountable for designing a comprehensive and customized reporting format considering Donor and BLAST’s senior management requirements integrating quantitative, qualitative and participatory approaches. S/he will work on the donor reporting systems/templates through the analysis of data, and preparation and collating in line with project design.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
∎ Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain data governance processes.
∎ Interpret data, and analyze results using statistical techniques.
∎ Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns relating to key performance indicators in complex data sets.
∎ Identify anomalies in various data sources filter and clean data.
∎ Incorporate data analysis into the donor templates and designated ongoing reports.
∎ Use analyzed data to create reports identifying process improvement opportunities.
∎ On request prepare and create reports for donors and BLAST management.
∎ Prepare a monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual report to measure the progress of the project action plan.
∎ Follow-up the reporting deadlines of the project and ensure the timely report submission to the donor through BLAST’s senior management.
∎ Identify and document success stories, best practice and case sties and prepare these reports accordingly.
∎ Review and refine project monitoring and reporting tools in line with BLAST’s M&E system and donor requirements.
∎ Conduct FGD with the beneficiaries to get feedback about the services.
∎ Aggregates all monthly qualitative and quantitative data from the field and assist to keep those in BLAST database (CMS) on regular basis.
∎ Assist Litigation Coordinator to prepare project related activities on need basis.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have more than five years of experience assisting in reporting.
∎ BAR Council enrollment will be preference.
∎ Thorough knowledge of litigation support as normally acquired.
∎ Project management experiences.
∎ Demonstrable ability to generate reports and formulate database.
∎ Earlier working experience/currently working at Rohingya Crisis will be given preference.
∎ Good in communication both in English and Bangla.
∎ Good computer skill in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
