Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and monitor a portfolio of non-performing and written-off loans.
∎ Develop and implement effective strategies to recover outstanding amounts while preserving client relationships where possible.
∎ Conduct detailed analysis of defaulted accounts to identify the root causes of non-performance.
∎ Implement innovative recovery techniques, including litigation, settlements, and asset liquidation.
∎ Engage with customers and branches to establish mutually acceptable repayment terms.
∎ Identify prospective buyers to facilitate the sale of mortgaged properties and recover debt efficiently.
∎ Collaborate with borrowers to assess repayment capacity and propose appropriate restructuring solutions.
∎ Negotiate settlement terms, repayment schedules, and legal agreements to maximize recovery.
∎ Maintain professional and empathetic communication with defaulting clients to understand their financial situations and identify mutually beneficial solutions.
∎ Build strong relationships with legal teams, consultants, and third-party recovery agencies.
∎ Track and assess branch performance regarding delinquent accounts.
∎ Initiate timely actions to recover outstanding payments.
∎ Visit customer business premises, residential addresses, mortgaged properties, Tahsil offices, and other relevant locations to verify and collect information.
∎ Keep detailed records of customer interactions, account status updates, and branch reports.
∎ Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
∎ Draft board memos, management reports, and office memos for settlement approvals.
∎ Issue sanctions to branches or clients post-approval from the management or board.
∎ Compose and dispatch reply letters, reminder notices, and other correspondence as required.
∎ Proactively identify cases requiring legal intervention and coordinate with the legal department to initiate appropriate legal actions for the resolution of delinquent accounts.
∎ Escalate unresolved cases to the legal department for necessary action.
∎ Provide assistance to the MIS and legal departments to enhance recovery efforts and ensure operational excellence.
∎ Support the execution of arrest warrants when required.
∎ Investigate and resolve issues related to land and mortgage properties by liaising with relevant offices and departments.
∎ Conduct thorough investigations of land and mortgage-related matters by coordinating with relevant land offices and departments to ensure accurate resolution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
∎ Evaluate collateral values and assess the viability of recovering through asset realization.
∎ Prepare and analyze recovery reports for departmental use.
∎ Summarize branch activities and performance.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to optimize recovery processes.
