Job Context:
∎ Category QAQC Manager
∎ The QAQC Manager is responsible for all activities related to ensuring raw material and finished product quality from the plant. Works directly with the Plant Manager to organize the necessary testing protocol to ensure proper raw material and finished product quality as per requirement of the company. The QAQC Manager is in charge of the laboratory and will supervise staff to carry out the different tests to be performed under properly calibrated equipment, which will follow the ISO standard. The individual will ensure the blending of finished products match the international specification received from the principal. Timely sourcing of raw materials and delivery of finished products to ensure no complaints are received from customer is their main responsibility. The experienced QAQC Manager will ensure the laboratory is operating with global best practices and be able to pass all local and international regulations for laboratory testing operations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing Quality activities / Inspection of Raw Materials to Releasing Finished Goods
∎ Product development / R&D of the Finished Products.
∎ Batch testing to ensure quality, efficacy and specification meets lab sample of final product.
∎ Facilitating new product development initiative with key focus on Quality, Cost & Delivery.
∎ Checking and correcting the defective problems during manufacturing of products.
∎ Stability Studies, Product validations and Shelf life determination.
∎ Preparation of Products / Raw materials masters and Test Report.
∎ Preparation of Customer Questionnaires, vendor evaluations and Pre-Audit forms.
∎ Preparing / Updating of Raw material requirements for Production Plan.
∎ Developing new grades with Cost reductions against Market samples.
∎ Undertaking customer feedback and carrying out modifications in products, if required.
∎ Quality Tracing SQC Techniques-Raw material and Finished Goods.
∎ Inspection and Approval of delivery of raw material during receiving / delivery process at tank farm / warehouse.
∎ Ensure the site QC processes align and support product specifications and specific customer requirements.
∎ Support new product launch and site to site transfers to ensure flawless first time execution.
∎ Responsible for supplier quality assurance programs with primary focus on fluids.
∎ Assess risks in fluid handling operations and implement control measures and testing protocols to prevent contamination and product out of spec events.
∎ Responsible for ensuring "good laboratory practices" are implemented, documented, and sustained.
∎ Lead QC quality improvement initiatives across the enterprise.
∎ Perform gauge analysis to ensure repeatability and reproducibility are within industry standards.
∎ Responsible for all Lab functions including calibrations program.
∎ Maintenance of Lab Equipment and sourcing of spare parts in time to ensure no disruption of blending works.
∎ Working with Regulatory Bodies to ensure compliance is maintained for full lab operation and test quality certification.
∎ Accountable for Blending Quality.
∎ Develops goals and plans for quality improvement.
∎ Train staff for ensuring ISO standard is maintained for Lab Quality
Additional Requirements:
∎ Higher degree in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Chemical
∎ Relevant professional qualifications suitable for this position.
∎ Cognate experience in working with fluids required for Oil & Gas, Automotive Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, Construction Equipment, Power Generation Equipment, Textile Machineries, and Agriculture Equipment.
∎ Honest, committed, hardworking and self-motivated.
∎ Minimum of 5 years experience in running a laboratory and managing staff.
∎ Additional Requirements: MBA and/or experience in Sales, Product Management or Business Management a plus
