Responsibilities & Context:
This is a hands-on QA role designed for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about product quality. You will be responsible for designing test strategies, executing test plans, and driving automation to deliver reliable SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
Validate product requirements against functional (FRs) and non-functional (NFRs) specifications.
Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across product modules.
Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with standards (ISO 27001, OWASP, GDPR, Bangladesh Labour Act).
Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects.
Maintain test documentation (test plans, bug reports, RTM, acceptance criteria).
Support CI/CD pipelines with automated testing frameworks.
Conduct performance and usability testing (load, stress, accessibility per WCAG 2.1).
Participate in sprint planning & review to ensure features meet definition of done.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3–4 years of QA/testing experience (SaaS domain preferred).
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, JMeter, Swagger/OpenAPI).
Experience with SQL/Databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) for validation.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and documentation discipline.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience testing biometric device integrations (ZKTeco, Suprema, etc.).
Knowledge of security testing (RBAC, MFA, SSO, data residency).
Familiarity with enterprise SaaS software.
