Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Possess a high-level knowledge of Product Safety, Production Management, QMS and Manufacturing process is required.
∎ Commercial awareness of industry standard quality levels and customer expectations.
∎ Technical knowledge in Supply Base Management, Technical Auditing & QMS Process training and development is key.
∎ Working knowledge of product development, garment fitting, production pattern making for
∎ Circular knits, woven and flat knits/sweaters.
∎ Familiar with laboratory test requirements and testing procedures, European market legislations and regulations.
∎ Capable of implementing and driving strategies forward to completion through change management, personal and staff development.
∎ Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Self-motivated and a good team player.
∎ Good assertive communication, presentation, and Leadership skills.
∎ Good command in English language, both written and spoken.
∎ Computer Literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. And Quality Management Systems.
∎ Frequent travel is required.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for quality assurance from order acceptance to finished product, ensuring it meets all quality and safety expectations.
∎ Implement the company sourcing objectives to align the customer’s expectations in product safety and development with supplier competences.
∎ Responsible for product safety controls, including the auditing and monitoring of key operations at a Production Unit level to meet children’s safety requirements, such as metal detection and pull testing, thereby ensuring a safe and reliable supply base.
∎ Apply best practice thinking and practices in order to control, assess and maintain the quality standards of NKD products.
∎ Implement a ‘Right First Time’ (RFT) approach to quality that drives supplier ownership, efficient process and product quality improvements
∎ Lead, motivate and develop & given daily support in-house QA Team.
∎ Responsible for the application, training, and management of all Quality Management Systems (QMS).
∎ Deliver key projects and work-streams related to strategic business development directives and cost saving initiatives.
∎ Effective implementation and maintenance of Corrective Action Plan Acknowledgement Reports (CAPA) to support continuous improvement.
∎ Maintain and monitor the Quality Issue Tracker on a regular basis, acting as and when appropriate. Provide root cause analysis and solutions on major quality issues, capturing learnings for best practice sharing.
∎ Recommending solutions prior to the product’s order placement and manufacture.
∎ Provide insight and inputs on supplier and production unit selection, supplier quality performance, etc.
∎ Contribute to the development and management of NKD’s quality and product safety standards.
∎ Contribute to the updating, revision and to the ongoing development of NKD’s Supplier Quality Manual standards.
∎ Responsible for the implementation of quality requirements, including inspections and quality system audits, compliance and testing.
∎ Conduct supplier training programs as and when required.
∎ Work closely with all Merchandising team colleagues and NKD’s QS team to ensure an effective and efficient process capable of leveraging and sharing best practice.
