∎ Tdh is working in Bangladesh since 1974, with operations in the north of the country (Kurigram district), in the Dhaka district and in Cox Bazaar district. Tdh is implementing programs on Health, WASH, Access to Justice (social cohesion and conflict resolution), Migration and Child protection, both in development and emergency context.
∎ Context:
∎ Tdh`s Child Protection (CP) program consists of three main components: Psychosocial Support (PSS) to children, adolescents and caregivers; Case Management, including Alternative Care and Caring for Child Survivors, and Support to Community-based CP mechanisms. To protect and promote the psychosocial wellbeing of adolescent boys and girls and young men and women through community-based approaches implemented at individual, family and community levels. The MHPSS component is based on Tdh innovative YouCreate methodology, and the Problem Management+ (PM+) intervention developed by WHO and family support and strengthening intervention. These intervention strategies applicable for individual and group adolescents and adults who are having different psychosocial and adjustment issues due to migration.
∎ The project is to protect and promote the psychosocial wellbeing of adolescent boys and girls and young men and women through community-based approaches implemented at individual, family and community levels between host and refugee community population.
∎ General objective:
∎ Under the guidance of the Project Manager and directly supervised by the PSS Team Leader, PSS Facilitator will implement the project activities with the support of the M&E Officer and Data Assistant. He/She will responsible for the organizing, implementation and monitoring of the daily project activities in close cooperation with the PSS TL, Tdh community volunteers and M&E team, and regular internal reporting.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure daily quality implementation of You Create art action activities with the support of The community volunteers and Tdh M&E Officers.
∎ Supervise and coordinate the Tdh Community Volunteers.
∎ Record keeping with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as per project target
∎ Ensure regular communication with the line manager on activities' updates, achievements
∎ Support the activities in Tdh Multi-Purpose Community Centers (MPCC) and the community outreach
∎ Identification of youth leaders and providing technical support and guidance to run group activities
∎ Ability to identify beneficiaries who need prior and individual mental health support with disability inclusion
∎ Assist in conduction awareness-raising session among community members along with community leaders through cascading model
∎ Ensure participation of youth in the focused program in a non-discriminatory as well as age and gender and disability sensitive and appropriate approach.
∎ Ensure that child protection standards are understood, applied, and support the youth leaders in establishing a clear referral system and Art-activities.
∎ Provide individual support to beneficiaries who need special support by PM+
∎ Support the outreach and identification of adults and youth impaired by distress and internally refer for further response Participate in field assessment when required
∎ Coordination and Representation:
∎ Engage with the community and community representatives to understand needs and gaps in mental health programming
∎ Implement different activities among the community with ensuring community engagement
∎ Refer beneficiaries with special needs or at risk and follow up the referred cases' conditions in collaboration with the Case management team.
∎ Report to the PSS TL with the coordination with M&E Officer and Data Assistant on regular basis on Youth, adolescent and caregivers progress in the activities.
∎ Maintain and strengthen the relations with the other organizations dealing with CP and psychosocial support and others as well.
∎ Other responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring the implementation of Tdh’s Child Safeguarding and PSEA policies during activities implementation
∎ Follow the process of the report on any sensitive issues to the Tdh focal person.
∎ Respect and abide by the organization's internal code of conduct and child protection policy
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the respective management

Additional Requirements:
