Responsibilities & Context:

The Project Officer – MIS is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and accurate management of Management Information Systems related to project activities. This includes timely data entry, production planning, and real-time monitoring of project performance indicators using MIS tools such as software applications, Google Sheets, and Excel. The role supports effective decision-making by maintaining data integrity, generating reports, and coordinating across departments to achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth operation of production software within the Centre.
  • Prepare job tickets and enter production planning data timely into software, Google Sheets, or Excel.
  • Monitor section-wise production progress using production software, Google Sheets, and Excel.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory control through production software or spreadsheets.
  • Prepare reports related to production, wages, labor, and other relevant metrics.
  • Support purchase and billing processes through the system.
  • Provide training and technical support to staff on software operation and usage.
  • Assist in accurate and timely data input into the MIS system as per project requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with the Programme Manager’s MIS team.
  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
