Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science in Urban & Regional Planning, GIS, Civil Engineering, CSE or any other relevant subject from any reputed university/ institute.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): GIS Mapping, GPS Survey, Information technology
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Install, maintain, repair, and update the mobile base software, desk-top & lap-top based software functioning like KoBo, BRAC HCMP app etc. and provide day-to-day support.
∎ Conduct and ensure the coordination (longitude and latitude) through GPS of Shelters and Site Improvements interventions with engaging to all Project Officer, Shelter in collaboration of Deputy Project Manager, Shelter and Project Manager, Shelter.
∎ Provide effective guidance and support as well as make them (Project Officers working in implementation) capable to have accurate GPS information for the project interventions through providing on-the-job training.
∎ Provide effective and efficient spatial data analysis and reporting including presentation and dissemination of spatial data.
∎ Prepare GPS database and different types of SHELTER facility maps for visualization and act as the focal person of information management in Shelter Sector and maintain a good professional networking with sector partners and perform any other related duties assign by the Leader-Shelter & NFI.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programmer’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:

∎ Minimum 3-5 years of experiences in information management, visualization and Information Technology in any reputed organization.
∎ Have ability to act as the focal person of information management in Shelter Sector and maintain a good professional networking with sector partners.
∎ Have Knowledge on Information Technology (IT) and Geographic Information System (GIS).
∎ Have willingness to live and work in difficult and rapidly changing conditions.
∎ Have willingness to travel and stay in the field.
∎ Have excellent writing, reporting, and analytical skills.
∎ Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).
∎ Self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work.
