Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Implement project activities at the field level as per the project DIP and guidelines.
∎ Ensure timely and effective execution of field activities, including community mobilization, training, and awareness campaigns.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with Self Help Group (SHG) members, local leaders, and stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate participatory approaches to ensure community involvement and ownership of project activities.
∎ Reactivate the SHGs GIGA and IIGA, also establish the demo plots, nursery, lead farmers
∎ Manage field-level logistics, including the distribution of materials and resources.
∎ Ensure proper use and maintenance of project assets and equipment.
∎ Ensure quality production of the on-farm and off-farm products.
∎ Address community concerns and resolve conflicts that may arise during project implementation.
∎ Propose solutions to challenges and ensure the continuity of project activities.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
∎ The Project Officer, Field Officer will be responsible for the on-ground implementation, monitoring, and coordination of project activities in the assigned area. The role involves working directly with communities, local stakeholders, and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of project objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in challenging environments. S/he will also supervise the activities of community volunteers.
