Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support to operate Secondary Education Programme at field level.
∎ Visit schools and provide appropriate support to the supervisors and facilitators.
∎ Support to conduct staff capacity building orientation, workshop and training.
∎ Maintain close coordination with union and Upazila education government stakeholders.
∎ Provide necessary administrative and documentation support.
∎ Ensure availability of required video lessons at Schools.
∎ Follow up periodic and annual examinations of secondary education.
∎ Support to child enrollment at secondary schools.
∎ Assist to select new site for classroom or school construction.
∎ Ensure smooth operation club activities at schools.
∎ Collect all Exam report & submit to Project Manager with compilation.
∎ Conduct regular Monitoring at school and share findings.
∎ Conduct supervision visit to schools and provide necessary feedback to facilitators and supervisors.
∎ Coordinate in organizing monthly SMC & Guardian meeting at secondary school.
∎ Facilitate training for program of secondary education.
∎ Analyze training need and further assess for improvement.
∎ Support to ISCP group activities at schools.
∎ Communicate with Govt. & NGO offices in the district and Upazila levels.
∎ Share programme update, success report or case story with government official.
∎ Assist CGC to identify potential candidates from field level.
∎ Assist facilitator recruitment & training (continuous professional development).
∎ Check all bill vouchers related to Project according to friendship financial policy.
∎ Develop action plan, follow up the project activities and analysis the performance.
∎ Follow up the school building construction and repairing work if needed.
∎ Keep all the office and academic documents of secondary schools updated.
∎ Prepare Monthly work plan including the activities focusing the ongoing activities.
∎ Regular follow up of IT equipment for secondary schools.
∎ Assist Project Manager to prepare monthly fund requisition.
∎ Receive the School Facilitator’s salary and distribute timely.
∎ Any work set within the reason and means by the authority of the Organization.Skill and CompetenciesEducational requirements:
∎ Master’s degree in any discipline (preferable in Education) Desired Skill:
∎ Proficient in English and computer literacy (Ms Word, Ms Excel) Experience requirement:
∎ At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience of working in the Education sector.
∎ Demonstrated leadership capacity and excellent interpersonal skills and team work.
∎ Positive attitude towards learning and development.
∎ Ability to assessments staffs’ progress.
∎ Ability to work independently and under pressure.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel to remote chars regularly.
