Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc. in Civil Engineering from university/ institute. Academic qualification may be relaxed based on experience level and any other professional degree.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure project's effective operational planning and implementation accordingly.
∎ Monitor project's implementation progress, budget and others as applicable.
∎ Assist Sector Lead-Shelter for plan, design and management of shelter & site improvement activities specially budget segregation, activities planning etc.
∎ Identify the most appropriate project intervention based on need assessment through field observation, FGD and close collaboration of community people, Mahji and other stakeholders.
∎ Ensure and provide technical & management supports and guidelines to field colleagues through meeting/orientations/on-the-job training for successful implementation of project activities in line with sector guidance and slandered with considering the specific needs of women, child and other vulnerable and extreme vulnerable group.
∎ Maintain regular tracking and update on shelter and site improvement activities with necessary adjustments to ensure the timely completion of all construction/re-construction/building work as well as supervise the whole implementation process of shelter and site Improvement activities including randomly follow-up the NFI distribution to ensure the quality.
∎ Prepare daily and weekly report as well as monthly reports and submit to line manager in time. Also assist Sector Lead, Shelter to prepare the half-yearly, yearly and project closing reports and submit to line manager.
∎ Maintain close relationship and contact with relevant managements and sectors specially Procurement, Finance, Admin and Logistics, Communication within organization and Site Management, GoB officials, Donor, community and stakeholders outside of organization and try to assist them as maximum as possible.
∎ Be responsible for capacity building of the supervisees working in the project.
∎ Represent the team in different coordination meetings, management meetings, donor meetings on regular and periodical updates on project implementation projects and other important issues.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Have experience in project cycle management including planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Have knowledge and experience of planning, designing, implementation and supporting supervision of staffs and relevant project activities in his working area.
∎ Have ability to guide and assist on technical assistance to his colleagues and introduce appropriate technology of his working areas in term of long time sustainability.
∎ Have effective acquaintance with people management.
∎ Have excellent writing, reporting, and analytical skills.
∎ Have excellent knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).
∎ Have self-motivation, goal/result-orientation and team work.
