Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Projahnmo Research Foundation is seeking qualified and motivated applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Project Manager for a multi country multi-center Phase 3 vaccine trial.
∎ Job Nature: Fixed term
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the direction of the Principal Investigators (PIs) and Co- Investigators of the study, Project Manager will be responsible for the management of the vaccine trial for effective and quality implementation as per IRB approved protocol.
∎ S/he will be able to lead and guide field and hospital teams at respective study sites.
∎ Supervise a team of medical officers, study physicians and guide them throughout the study period as per GCP and study protocol including quality control.
∎ Provide strategic direction, technical leadership, and project management to implement planned activities and produce results.
∎ Ensure and oversee the timely and successful implementation of project activities.
∎ Regular monitoring of scheduled, unscheduled and surveillance visits.
∎ Ensure the operation of management systems and operating procedures to implement project activities.
∎ Monitor the study progress, identify issues with potential solutions, and discuss with supervisor without any delay.
∎ Liaison and coordination with GoB/MOHFW and other stakeholders, local leaders, and hospital staff, fellow study staff and foreign study monitors for smooth implementation of the study.
∎ Assess for training needs and arrange training and refresher trainings for study staff.
∎ Perform any other activities as and when required under guidance of investigators.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least five years' experience in public health research/program, including one year experience in management positions. Experience with exposure to project/research management, project design, and evaluation, managing clinical trial will be given preference.
∎ Competency requirement:
∎ Ability to work in a complex environment and deliver results in high-pressure situations within the stipulated timeline
∎ Strong in written and verbal English and Bangla communication
∎ Knowledge of ethical guidelines
∎ Efficient decision making and problem-solving skills
∎ Ability to summarize the results or observation
∎ Proven experience of leading and managing a large team with an aptitude to work independently
∎ Planning and organizing.
∎ Operational decision making.

∎ Networking, collaboration and building partnerships.
∎ Additional requirement:
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
∎ Skilled in MS office and Excel software

∎ Motivation to take challenges.
∎ Good networking and negotiating skills.
∎ Ability to travel to the field (more than 40% of the time)
∎ Fluency in Bangla and English, both written and verbal
Salary:
∎ NOB level (Salary is negotiable for a highly experienced candidate). PRF offers competitive salaries and other employee benefits package.
