Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review the CP project budget to ensure compliance with BRAC, donor and legal regulations including effective budgeting policies and procedures.
∎ Prepare variances report based on actual and budgeted amount monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annually and also as per need of the project.
∎ Analyze financial information (e.g. expenditures and cash management) to ensure that all operations are within budget.
∎ Prepare Strategic plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and its services.
∎ Work closely with HCMP procurement department/unit and finance department/unit as well as communicate and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers to ensure good quality materials for Shelter project.
∎ Ensure and Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency for Shelter materials.
∎ Supervise, coach and train warehouse team and finance team to resolve any arising problems or complaints.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability to explain budgeting and financial information in layman's terms.
∎ Knowledge of MS Excel (specifically advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts).
∎ Ability to work independently and handle multiple sector activities focusing on humanitarian crises.
∎ Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
∎ Enthusiastic to learn from locality and willing to work on new challenges under pressure.
