• Experienced in building heavy industrial or commercial projects.

• Experienced in working with consultants and contractors.

• Leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Adequate knowledge on Microsoft project, Auto CAD and related software.

Job Context

Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is one of the largest and leading conglomerates in Bangladesh. The position of Project Engineer (Civil) will play a vital role to supervise and implement the civil engineering responsibilities of Cumilla Economic Zone/ Meghna Economic Zone.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and Monitor the construction work of projects and ensure progress as per design and drawing.
• Prepare Purchase Requisition (PR), and Material Receiving Report (MRR).
• Supervise all construction and maintenance work of RCC (Reinforced cement concrete) /steel building works.
• Handle workers’ and contractors’ activities and evaluate their performance.
• Ensure proper inventory of building materials of the factory site.
• Maintain and check measurement book (MB), and bill of quantity (BOQ) of ongoing industrial infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site investigation and analyze data (like maps, reports, tests, drawings and others)
• Maintain quality work in scheduled time.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety security in factory building project premises.
• Prepare report based on factory building project program.
